4 different sweatshirts, 4 different looks ft. H&M

Hello my loves! How are y'all doing? The last week's been pretty crazy, I had my li'l cousins over and I was their personal tourist guide, taking them around and showing them all of Lucknow. But, it was fun 'coz I was kinda reliving my childhood! Well, now that they've all gone back, I'm back to writing my blogs, like I promised this year will be better than the last. I have for you...this very refreshing post with H&M today. Oh yes, I finally have the brand up in my cloud and I couldn't be happier!

Though the winter season has almost come to an end, but what's better than sharing a closure with some sweatshirt styles that I rocked unapologetically in the last 2 months. Below I've shared with you the hoodie styles that you can fashionably mix and match with different pieces to create something that suits your needs! I never thought I could go that west but it did happen. Scroll down for the looks..

SPORTY

Casual, comfortable and snuggly. These are every girl’s definition of a sweatshirt. The classic combo of a white hoodie on a blue denim is never going out of fashion, and I chose to throw up my very sporty looking white sweat on a pair of spunky blue shorts, and touch up the look with a red hat to hint some swag. My new sport shoes in black & white did all justice to the look, and of course a lot of you are aware that I've started following a fitness regime so you'll never find me without my apple watch. That's a series 4!

You can very easily go out for a run in this look, or just casually for a winter brunch. Trust me, it's super comfy & swaggy to carry!

FANCY

Okay, so before I even begin expressing how much I loved putting this look together, let me just say I felt like I'm walking the NYFW. The colors are perfectly coordinated, and the black sweatshirt with the New York monogram on the front is super sassy. I added it over a long, sky blue, pleated skirt of which I wore the back side in front. Yes, the slit is supposed to be at the back but I pulled it to the front, and it did turn out to be a thing, so why not! Added my thigh high boots to give the look a fancy edge, and save myself from the chill under a super flairy skirt!

This look is a very refreshing combination in the winters and can be a head turner at events. You can don it at a lunch or a dinner party! The hoodie on the sweatshirt will save you from the chilly evenings.

BASIC

Hoodie sweatshirts are the most humble pieces in our wardrobes. But, sometimes sweatshirts are more than a lazy day outfit. The trick to convert your boring sweatshirt and jeans look is very simple - add Heels. A basic pair of skinfit jeans in a dark, bold color paired with my favorite grey taupe sweatshirt from H&M's NASA collection was my easiest OOTD, everyday, especially when I'm meeting different people. I just threw in a matching pair of knotted heels in brown suede with the outfit, added metallic accessories and a brown wrist watch and I was good to go!

Morning to noon to evening to late night, I can forever live in this attire.

FEMININE

Sweatshirts have long been associated with sporty types but have evolved into a versatile wardrobe necessity; and they're not just designed for keeping us warm and toasty on cool wintry nights. We can pair it with high heels or sneakers, formal blazers or coats, statement earrings, and anything in between, it will always add the perfect contrast to your dressed up outfit.

As for my last look, I did the same. Added the element of elegance! I wore a below-the-knee length dress (which I generally don't 'coz I don't really know what to add over it, it's all noodle strap and I kinda fear showing off my heavy arms). Wearing dresses in winters is always a task, but layering it with a crop sweatshirt was a good idea. I topped the black dress with my most favorite sweat piece ever. It's a crop from H&M's 2018 collection and has "chase the rainbow" embroidered over it on the left, also has a front, high-neck zip, making the look interesting! To finish off, I wore a pair of silver hoops (matching with the zipper hoop) in my ears, and went bold with my red footwear - the snake print edition.

This look is strictly for the weekend parties. You're sure gonna get applauds for this one!

By now we all know sweatshirts are the most comfortable & practical item in our wardrobe and this fashion-forward piece is here to stay! I hope you liked reading the post, and checking out the pictures! Do let me know which one's your favorite look out of the 4 above; and which one would you actually like to don, maybe for the next winters?!

The Camo Style ft. Cultfiction Clothing

Hello everyone, I hope you liked the last post that I published yesterday, talking about my rainbow attraction. It's really close to my heart, and I wanted y'all to take a look! If you haven't chanced upon it yet, do it HERE now.

As for today, I've got you another fashion post from a different brand - CULTFICTION CLOTHING. They do not sell on their own website but other major ones like - Ajio, Jabong, Koovs, Myntra & Flipkart. The brand is one of my favourites when it comes to sporty chic outfits, and I'd been a regular customer, until one fine day they sent me some sample pieces to try and share with you guys (my lovely readers). Let me tell you, Cultfiction is one of the most reliable brands when it comes to skin friendly fabric and authentic colors, and like most of you know I love stepping out in comfort more than spunky apparels, this brand just does it right for me!

For this post, I've chosen to share two of my favorite camouflage looks from Cultfiction. I've taken a sparkle of runway inspiration and brought camo back! The oh-so-wearable trend definitely won’t disguise or hide your high and mighty style game, trust me!

The first piece is a camisole top, with camo pattern in red, blue and white. My most favorite color combination for the chill season! Darker colors just make me look a li'l prettier in this weather you see. Well, it's a crop top, more like a t-shirt, and fits me perfectly. I tend to avoid wearing sleeveless tops but this one adds the right curve to my shoulder and looks sexy! I paired it up with a black distressed jeans and white heels to give the look an edge.

PS : Since this post was shot in the summers, you know it's more like a summer outfit, but of course can be donned in winters with a jacket layered unapologetically, ain't it?

The second piece is a camo shift dress. Now who wouldn't want to make a statement in the rough-and-tough khaki and grey hue to look totally badass. It's time we carry forward an essence of femininity and sexiness by adding an army-inspired uniform to our wardrobes for instant kickass sass. Do we dare to bring back the trend? Hell yes!

This shift dress is a very stylish yet comfortable piece in my wardrobe and will always be, until I find something better (not happening anytime soon I believe). The pattern is stunning and can be carried in any season, regardless of the offbeat style. I can layer it up with a long coat in winters and add longer boots. As for this look, I chose to wear my ankle length boots, and clinch a sleek belt on my waist. Also added a chunky metallic bracelet to give the look a definition.

Recently I stumbled upon a picture of Victoria Beckham walking the streets of New York, carrying the best version of herself styled in a camo tee, and that inspired me to finally publish this post! But with that, it also begs the question - if one of the most stylish woman on the planet is backing the return of camouflage, should you be too? Well, the answer is : it's a counterintuitive fashion trend, and we all want to stand out! It's impossible not to notice it! So girls, make 'camo' a runway trend and pull out your camouflage outfits and show your flirty, colorful camo side for spring!

You can buy the top HERE, and the dress HERE.

Funkyween : No Costume Halloween

"Change the game, don't let the game change you!" - Macklemore

Been saying this for years, Halloween parties are not my thing. Spooky costumes, scary music has never been of my interest, but with the urge of gaining new experiences and adapting to different ideas, I've learnt to give everything a shot! But, like always it has to be my way or no way. I get it, Halloween is all about turning the everyday on its head, being dead when you’re not, wearing your underwear in public and calling it a costume even though it's really cold. Certainly I am not doing that, though with Halloween approaching in just 2 days, I know people are working on their outfits to look crazy AF! However, I have my own way of looking glorious for a Halloween eve that I plan to attend.

I never like to dress up extravagant and go out-of-the-box making efforts to look stylish. Each one of us has a different way to make him/herself stand out of the crowd while being comfortable in their own skin. My personal style is minimalistic and I love carrying outfits that speak more of what I am than what I might try being. For Halloween, I have created a simple yet classy look while adding some funk to it! Scroll down for complete details..

top, leggings : Pantaloons | boots : H&M | choker : ProLeather | sunglasses : Amazon

With Halloween around the corner, it's only natural to look entertainment for costume inspiration. But if you're a person like me - lazy, carefree, fundamental, you know uncultured costumes aren't for us. You are going to look stunning with what you have in your wardrobe, just like how I knew and picked out a turquoise blue side-shoulder top and paired it with black lace leggings! The lace gives elegance to the entire look while the colour of top being an unusual one, looked raw and gorgeous. I chose to add some spice to the outfit with a hot pink broad sized choker that covered my entire neck but appeared graceful and unconventional at the same time! Needless to say, it looks fancy. Also, I snugged into my black suede boots, keeping it sleek and comfortable for the eve. It's a lot of dancing so you know you gotta stay unworried. PS : The sunnies are optional but they look absolutely mesmerising!

To complete the look, my MUA gave me lose curls to add definition to my hair, making my face look sleeker, while she also added some pop glam with subtle colours while painting my face with makeup keeping it sumptuous and swanky. The bright pink lips look even cooler because of the neon coloured choker and compliment each other!

Let's get on tricking with no costume this Halloween and still treat ourselves with the pleasure we all deserve. Go out, dress fun, stay comfy, stun for run! I hope you all liked this look. For more, connect with me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and for my daily whereabouts, add me on Snapchat (username : shubhigarg04). May you have a great Halloween! Until next, love and luck.

Tulip & Blush (ft. Stalkbuylove & Aarna Designs)

"Make it simple, but significant." — Don Draper

The quote above helps me remind you that I have always been a lazy girl when it comes to dressing, but I make sure whenever I dress up, it gets its own kinda appreciation. My personal style has never been fancy or over-the-top. Its pretty simple, easy and elegant, and people who've met me know it well! But, I really have a thing for indo-western clothing, and as with the years Indian styles have got boring, Indian women like me decide to mix and match cuts, fabric, necklines, waistlines, embellishments and various other technicalities, to form an entirely different kind of clothing that would suit modern needs and satisfy today’s tastes!

So, bringing together a few pieces from different online brands, I've managed to construct a look that's booming a trend this season with Tulip Pants. With its forgiving silhouette – billowing on top, narrow at the ankles, and with layers of airy fabric, these pants have become the home of traditional summer classics. They are not as baggy as the salwar, but still airy enough to beat this heat. It comes in a range of fabric from lawn to cotton, and silk or chiffon. It certainly gives a hippy feel but is graceful at the same time! Check out the entire look below..

top : Koovs | tulip pants : StalkBuyLove | heels : Steve Madden | rings : H&M | earrings : Aarna Designs

We all know, that indo-western trend offers umpteen choices for fashion savvy shoppers who are ready to experiment with variations in styles. Not only are they stylish, but also make the wearer to stand out in the crowd. A similar add-on is the tulip pants that gets quite true when you try it with simple tops! Tulip pants are another version of dhoti pants as we widely know about in India, from Pakistan. These are mostly paired with kaftan tops and kurtas, but ofcourse in other places its more of a free-will to pair it with shorter pieces!

I chose to pick a pair of blush pink tulip pants from StalkBuyLove, one of my favorite clothing brands of all times. They have such stunning summer pieces that keep my eyes rolling! Teamed it up with a solid black, full sleeved crop top from Koovs and glitter heels from Steve Madden (mind you, I love buckles, they help me stay in place). Accessories being an important part of the indo-western styling, had be going in for over sized bohemian earrings from Aarna Designs, with multi-colored tassels with pink popping out the most, and mirrors that reflected shine along with a few metallic finger rings from H&M. Best fitted for a season party or Indian functions, this look is for the girls who often want to ditch the regular kurta salwar, and opt for something creative and stylish!

PS : I went in for a subtle summer makeup that looked perfect for both day and night events. A fresh pink face with little glitter on the eyes, bright pink lips and midtone contouring! More like a diva, eh?

If you liked this look, please drop a comment telling me the same. Also, share it across with your girl friends and make them aware about how this new trend of tulip pants can stun the world! Follow me on facebook, instagram and snapchat (username : shubhigarg04) for more OOTDs!

Summer Beano with H&M

Hola loves! No, imma talk about the scorchy weather anymore! I'm only going to be sharing with you positive thoughts and if you're anything like me, you know it's power, when accustomed with fashion. Yes, summers do call for light fabric and soft color clothing, but what if your wardrobe hasn't got a makeover from the winter collection in it yet, and what if you're a dark color fanatic?! How do you stay true to your personal style when the seasons change and your look is no longer in?

Well, I've partnered with the luxury clothing brand H&M to show you guys a recent look I created while picking two so-called winter colors from their store in New Delhi and teamed up for a summer party look! Check out all the pictures and details about my look below..

top, skirt, rings : H&M | shoes : StreetStyleStore.com

When it comes to summer wardrobe, we may find ourselves lacking some of the essentials. We either own too many work outfits or too much lounge-wear but no outfits for those errand-running days. Well, this season H&M's summer collection provides you many outfit ideas in your preferred dark colored interests, that allow you to look fashionable without overdoing it. My recent visit to the H&M store had me falling for it, and I picked two pieces that took me 10 seconds to pair up and create a perfect on-the-go beano look!

When we're talking about summer party outfits, two things we're more concerned about is how breathable the clothing is, and what amount of bling would look good! When I chose to pair the silver-grey kitted top with an A-line, silk-crepe dark grey skirt, I knew both fabrics are lustrous and airy. The top is partially see-through with a cute criss cross design covering the cleavage and the skirt gives your body a perfect silhouette (especially if you're petite and heavy on hips). I simply tucked in the top in the skirt that I wore high waist, and added high heeled white boots from StreetStyleStore to compliment the look! The choice of adding a few metallic rings from H&M's accessories section, to highlight my newly done nail art by Juice Salon Lucknow, definitely seemed a wise one.

At the end, my MUA gave me half pig-tail braids, with bold grey smokey eyes, deep contouring and wine lips to keep it classy and elegant, and its evident that the entire look can be donned for a day party or a night celebration like a true glam doll!

I hope this quick party look has made you feel comfortable already. Its not about how simple wearing a skirt and top is, but all about how you choose to pair dark colors mixed with lighter tones for the season!

PS : Currently, H&M doesn't offer online shopping, so you gotta rush into stores available at selected cities in India. But if you have any queries about my look or the products, please feel free to drop a comment below. Also, do tell me if this look is something that you'd like to carry sometime soon!

Laces, Knots, Fringes & Straws

Hey dearies, hope everything's happening great! So, I've been in a constant touch with my fellow city bloggers and saw them updating a lot many bohemian inspired looks recently. Whereas, I myself had been thinking of sharing a look on the similar lines since a very long time but I feel I'm more of a free-spirited country girl and like to keep things opulent and sophisticated!

Hence, today I've partnered with a multiple fashion brands (find details below) to put across an eccentric look that includes four of my favorite trends that are booming this season - lace, knots, fringes and straws.

The country-boho as we could name it, history suggests that the urbanity of the look comes from the french period, where girls dressed as art and walked across roads flaunting loose fabrics and lots of colors! Apparently, its true because you would rarely see an Indian girl running around places with fringes and straw hats on head and so we could say its a borrowed craze from the west. Having said that, I am a firm believer of exotic alternatives in fashion and feel that every person carries an individual and unique style which represents a counterculture.

Scroll down below to check out all the pictures from my kind of boho look and read what makes it a head turner!

dress : Forever21 | hat : Accessorize | bag : Old Buy | footwear : StreetStyleStore
twisty bracelet : Aminabad (Lucknow) | bracelet set : Auhna Creations | earrings : Aarna Designs | rings : H&M

Recently, in of the episodes on the Ellen DeGenerous show, the famous Bollywood actress and former Miss World - Priyanka Chopra carried a beautiful white lace dress from Zimmerman and became the talk of the town for the same! I was astound to find a very similar looking dress at the Forever21 store in Delhi and picked it without giving it a second thought. It was a clinched piece from the waist and an A-Line in the fall with a short length, just perfect for my height. I knew I was going to do something impromptu with it and that's what exactly happened when one morning I got up only to find myself pulling out my new pair of roman gladiators with brown laces from StreetStyleStore that are super comfy to walk in & look hot AF to match with the dress!

I quickly called up my team and told them we're shooting for a country side look in 2 hours and my accessories would be bluntly colored in red, orange, green, blue or just any random color one could think of, so we need a location that looks culturally aesthetic. As you could see in the pictures already, we finally stumbled upon a lake view with a broken bridge and some flowery scenes nearby!

To add, the multi-colored, knotted pom-pom earrings have been making its mark in the fashion market since quite some time, so I got myself some mirrored ones from Aarna Designs & paired it with a multi-colored twisty bracelet on one wrist and another stack of beaded ones on the other wrist complimenting the white dress, and of course we even wanted absolute finesse in the style so I carried a black-brown fringe bag to add vivacity along with my oxidised finger rings from H&M. I opted to finish off the look with a straw hat inspired by the actual country girl mode that I'd been discovering in western movies past so many years. Also, kudos to my MUA who gave me the best face of all time, a fresh & glamorous look with bold eyes, sensitive contouring and deep pink lips, and left my hair open to let me set to pose!

PS : If you were looking for a similar style, or were sceptical about trying out an unconventional look, I hope this post lead you somewhere. Do share it with your friends and help me spread some panache! Until next time, lots of love to you all.
