Lacing in the Woods with Why So Blue Love

Hi my lovelies!! Hope ya'll are having an amazing vacation. Yes, I know some of you are also writing your exams these days, so good luck to each one doing so!

Well, the heat is almost killing me and to top it all I too have my exams running. But, that doesn't mean I'm gonna keep you deprived of blog posts. Also, we have our second bloggerversary on the 28th of this month, so I'm excited about that too! I hope you're as excited as me....Eh?

Coming to today's post, it's a very very special story that I'm sharing with you all. Starting with, like many of you know, I am a huge fan of giveaways and love participating since last year. Luckily, I won many of them hosted by different bloggers and brands. Out of which, one of the gifts were from a fashion brand called WHY SO BLUE LOVE, where I won a Lace Skirt and another one was a beautiful Neckpiece from FUNKY FISH POPUP that I got through a fashion blogger, Priyadarshini Vijay (of HighOnStyle). It was around Diwali that I won both of these things and wanted to style it, but it took me over 6 months to finally share it with you (for just unavoidable reasons).

Well, now that I've managed to create a complete look, below is a little representation which I'd like you all to check out. So scroll down, now.....

necklace : Funky Fish Popup | handcuff : Auhna Creations | rings : Myntra

My relationship with lace over the years has been clear and blunt : I hated it. Up until last year, when I received my first lace skirt from Why So Blue Love. It looked glamorous, trendy and super sassy! The short skirt green lining under the long lace skirt appeared edgy and creative. I felt the design was just made to complement my style and liking! Today, evening dresses, cocktail attires, summer and fall collections have more penchant for LACE, like so incredibly sexy, decadent, and very very seductive that I cannot believe I used to hate this fabric a year ago.

Coming to my look, the skirt on closing, reached me above my waist and that's when I decided to team it up with a crop top. But not usual colors, because the off -white lace had to be toned with a darker color. So, I opted for a brown-cream printed crop from Shopnineteen, that echoed my mode of fashion instantly. I created an outfit that can be worn at different occasions at day or night both, just have to be matched with the right accessories.

And for the time, I chose to add the big-bold-statement necklace from Funky Fish Popup that looked superficial because of its bronze, metal and stone blend and gave the much needed chunk and shimmer to the top, filling in the emptiness at the deep neck. Also, wore a metallic handcuff having bright colored flowers, and a white stone finger ring, in one hand and an oversized bronze ring on the other. At the end, simply wore my beige Steve Madden heels in my feet to complete my look and walk out like a diva!

Just as appealing as the name Why So Blue Love is, of a fashion brand that sells self-designed apparels online, is as appealing as their creations. The team of two fashion enthusiasts (one of them being a pro designer and the other one just having a lure for the term) one day decided to deliver some exquisite designs to girls who crave for exclusivity always, and brought WSBL into existence, and today they are spreading style love all over the country! Go, check out their latest summer collection and add some awesomeness in your wardrobes now.
